Our two-hour ‘introduction to chocolate making’ workshops are a fun, creative experience where we get hands-on using various quality ingredients to master the art of mixing and smoothing, dipping and decorating with the milk, dark and white chocolate. Short and sweet, these workshops are ideal for teen birthday parties, hens parties, groups of friends, mothers and daughters and team bonding for business. Expect to leave your chocolate making lesson with your handmade treats and a headful of new knowledge and skills to impress your family and friends.

What you will do in this class:

  1. Using only the finest Belgian Couverture Chocolate our head chocolatier will introduce you to the world of chocolate, including sampling of a variety of chocolate types – find your “sweet spot”.
  2. Make a chocolate ganache and fill chocolate shells, before hand-rolling them to make your own truffles. You can then personalise them with your own choice of decoration.
  3. Create your own individual 200g chocolate slab, choose your favourite chocolate, then add your favourite flavours and inclusions(nuts, fruits etc.) before decorating with your own flair.
  4. Indulge your artistic side molding and decorating solid chocolates from a wide selection of mould shapes.

 

Everything you make is yours to take home, and packing will be provided.

Please remember that chocolate can be a little messy, and it is cool in the chocolate factory. So please bear this in mind when choosing what to wear. We will provide you with an apron.

Cost is $100 for the 2 hour course.
